127 Manta Sail Cats have been built since 1993.  The first Mark IV, with many new features was hull #111, delivered in October, 2006.  A very active owner's forum shares information and help on  a full range of issues from anchoring techniques and storm tactics to cleaning tips and where to buy hard-to-find parts.  This internet forum is only available to Manta Owners.  But we would be happy to put interested buyers in touch with other Manta owners who have offered to help prospective buyers understand the benefits of owning a Manta.

* MantaCatamarans.com  Although the company closed its doors in the fall of 2008, this site still contains a wealth of information on the history of Manta, construction methods, features and much more.

* MantaUSA.com This is an older site for the company.  Most of the information here is available in MantaCatamarans.com.

* Cruisersforum.com  An excellent source of general blue-water cruiser info.  (Calypso is listed here.)

* SSCA.org Seven Seas Cruising Association - Good site for serious cruisers.  Anyone can view the 'Classified' Ad section of their discussion group.  (Calypso is listed here.)

Sailnet.com Lots of good info, but not as good as CruisersForum.com.  Links to usedboats.com.

Hy-techmarine.com A website run by Pat Reischmann - one of the original team of developers of the Manta.  He often has boats for sale and has a wealth of information on Mantas and their unique features.

camarni.com Jade - Cam, Arni and the girls - great photos, videos, stories of 4 years on their manta sailing from Florida through USEC, Carib and across to New Zealand, Australia, Korea and finally to Hong Kong...  They arrived there end of Dec, 2009.
